On September 17, 2023, the foundation of the St. Leonie Children’s Center was inaugurated in Soyhieres. This beautiful daycare center, which bears the name of our Foundress, will preserve the spirit of the Congregation and will continue its educational mission.
A large crowd attended the inauguration and the unveiling of statues created by Sr. Marie-Helene, OSFS. The ensemble depicts Saint Leonie Aviat and children of different ages and cultures.
Fr. Blanc, the chaplain of the Motherhouse in Troyes, along with the Sisters from the Motherhouse Novitiate, were delighted to take part in this festive event with Sisters from our Swiss communities. They were able to see for themselves how much the day nursery is appreciated. The many official speeches and the spontaneous comments of many parents also testified to this.
