The ceremony

On this feast of Saint Mary Magdalene, the apostle of the Apostles, four priests and two deacons surrounded Father Schaller who presided over the beautiful jubilee ceremony. He noted in his homily that we all carry within us “a Mary Magdalene” and “a Stone”. He pointed out questions and answers that will remain for a long time to meditate:

          “Why are you crying?”

“Mary!”

“Rabbouni!”

          “Peter, do you love me?”

“You know all Lord, you know that I love you.”

Friendly time

The feast continued in the conviviality of a fraternal meal and lasted until Sunday. We thank the delegation of Soyhières (Switzerland) who made the trip with the presence of the President of the Association of Friends of Father Blanchard and Mother Chappuis.

About 70 Oblates gathered for the feast and represented our communities in the different countries where we are present. Joy was in all hearts!
